Haircut and Hawkeyes!

Today was a busy day for us. Started out bright and early with getting Bentley's first haircut taken. He wasn't sure what was going on at first but when they wet his hair down he wasn't too pleased. Once we got going he was fine as long as he was cuddling with mommy.

Don't mind my half a face here. My mom was trying to figure out my camera. Before the haircut.

Not sure what he thinks of the whole ordeal. Good thing there were other people to watch.

 After the haircut of course was game time! Even though we didn't win it was still a good game to watch...stressed me out with all of the overtimes but it was still good!

Jaxton's Birthday

For Jaxton's actual birthday we didn't do a whole lot. We made some cupcakes and he helped decorate them. We saved the party for the day after and went to the park with some family. This was our last year for a small party now that he's in school so it was pretty laid back but he had fun and that's what mattered!

He was decorating the cupcakes...and sneaking some sprinkles for himself in between lol

Look at that kids mouth! He kept trying to take a HUGE bite of the whole thing!

Blowing out his candles at the park. Mommy was mean and bought the relighting ones but of course they didn't work. I was so excited for that part too

Forget the presents. He just wanted to play with the cake toppers. All he's wanted for the past month is robots for his birthday.

Jaxton Starts Preschool!

It's official...he's no longer my baby:( Jaxton had his first day of preschool today...well sort of. It was an open house so we were allowed to stay with him and go through a series of centers. Let's just say he wasn't the most well behaved kid there. I know my kid is a brat but he's usually good around others. Today not so much. Luckily we weren't in a hurry so we could keep him doing what he was happy with for a while before forcing him to do what he had to! Here are some pics

Since I was lazy and took forever to get the rest of Bentley's one year pictures taken here are some I just shot with balloons! The are sooc because I don't have editing software on this cpu but wanted to share anyway!

Sidenote: I'm not sure if it's just blogger or what but for some reason these look distorted when I view the page. Will someone please tell me if they are or if they look normal after checking it out?! They look fine on a computer! Thanks!

Baseball!

It has been so nice out lately it's hard not to go outside. Jax constantly nagging may play a small role in that too...he keeps trying to play baseball in the house but he's just to dangerous and if the bat is left down (don't worry it's plastic) Bentley will grab it and go hit everything and everyone in sight!

Anyways, I've gone outside with Jax for the past couple of days and he just loves it. He is actually pretty good and although the pics I have are only with a little bat, the kid gets some power with the more regular sized bat we've been using since then! Here are a few pics of my booger...and yes he even listened to somewhat pose for a couple of pictures lol

Potty Training Day 2

Jaxton has done so good today! He has only had two accidents from the morning. One I was in the shower and he didn't want to go for grandma. The second I caught him halfway through pooping so the rest was done on the potty. I'm so proud of him and I just pray it keeps up!

Long time no update...

It's been a while since I've been able to update. We just moved back home a couple of weeks ago and it's great to be back. It's been nice catching up with some friends I haven't seen in a while and of course having playdates with all of Bentley's little pals! I really don't have a ton to update on right now since I'm still job hunting and such but just thought I'd pop on and share some pics since we've been back!

He loves playing at the splashpad! He's scared to get in the water much at first but once he does he loves it!

We went to Melora's first birthday party. Sadly I didn't get a ton of pics because he was constantly on the go and needing watched but he was being a spoon theif and it cracked me up.

I finally got to hang out with Rachel for a bit for the first ime in years! It was awesome to finally catch up for a while:)



Oh and I finally did something with my hair! I went a little darker for now (plan to highlight it in a couple of months) and got it cut a little and it feels soo much better!
