I Think I'm Addicted to Junk Food

I'll start with my photo challenge picture for today...theme was fruit and since I don't eat much other than mandarin oranges I had to think a little. I didn't want to open them since they're too big to eat right now (still can't open my mouth far enough to eat much thanks to my dumb wisdom teeth), soo that meant I had to find something else. Easy enough-I always have candy around! So today's picture is one of my favorite fruit flavored snacks...

Today was fairly uneventful. I had my postpartum checkup so I'm officially done going to Webster City again for quite a while. Then we had to go to Korbin's one month checkup. My big boy is already up to 8lbs 14oz! They had the nerve to ask if he eats good...hello?! He has gained 2 1/2 pounds in a month-I don't know how else he'd do that. Everything looked good though so he's free for another month now too.

I thought this meant we were done with doctors for a month but now I get the joy of going back to the oral surgeon again tomorrow since my right side seems to be swollen a little more again:( They want to make sure it isn't infected or a dry socket...it feels slightly better tonight but it's not like the other 3 so I'm not excited at all. I swear when this is all over I'm getting the biggest cheeseburger I can eat just because I can!!

Other than that rambling nothing else new to report except my crazy self agreed to go to work at 7am...I can handle being up at that time with the kids but we will see how I handle being up and ready at that time since it's a whole different ball game!

Park Date and Day 6

Since it was soo nice out today I wanted to either go for a walk or take the kids to the park. I ended up deciding the park sounded smarter in case Korbin wasn't happy so I could hop in the car and head home. Well Jaxton decided he wanted to play Lego Star Wars instead (his reward for having a good day at preschool) and so I decided to just make it a playdate with Bentley so he could have my full attention for once.

He loved being able to play outside. It is so strange taking him to a park compared to taking Jaxton. Jax is the type that takes off running and is still trying to run from you when it's time to go home. Bentley is a people watcher. Sure he would climb the stairs and go down the slide, but most of our time there he was watching the other kids playing. Jax would've had new friends! lol Needless to say it was a very calm trip for me but I did manage to get a few cute pics of him:) This kid is going to need to be watched constantly when he gets older because he is going to use those eyes to his advantage! They were so blue today and the little grin just is adorable. The crazy wind did make me notice how much he is needing a haircut though

In other big news....Korbin FINALLY pooped on his own today! This is huge to me (any moms out there would understand and if not skip this part). He hasn't pooped on his own since we left the hospital over a month ago:( I have had to give the poor kid suppositories once a week to help him and he just strained and was so gassy all the time...so not having to help him made me extremely happy. Now I just hope it keeps up!

And for the March Photo Challenge today's theme was chore. I kept forgetting to take pics when I did the normal stuff, but I did most of my bigger "chores" yesterday so there wasn't really a lot. When I saw this thought I decided it fit the title since I do have to pick up food from the floor daily (multiple times). Bentley is horrible at running around with food and spilling it everywhere!

March Photo Challenge Day 5

Today's challenge is "Something you love". Since it says something not someone I didn't do my kids. The first thing I thought of was:

I feel like I've been trying to be supermom tonight. I went grocery shopping this afternoon and discovered how amazing the Moby wrap is when at the store! Korbin just loved it and it made shopping so much easier for me since I didn't have any help. Then when we got home I had to feed the kids, finish laundry and put it away, do the dishes, give the kids baths, make muffins for Jaxton's snacks tomorrow, and of course feed my baby in between a few times. All done before 8:00. Now the kids are running around being psychotic before I put them to bed. Here are a few pics from the day since I can't NOT have some of the kids too!

March Photo Challenge Day 4

Nothing really exciting today for a picture. I had a fun idea in mind but the weather had other plans and it snowed like crazy for a while! So instead you get this from the backyard:)

Kind of going to be a post and run tonight since Korbin has been extra clingy today and I posted pics earlier on Facebook anyway!

March Photo Challenge Day 3

Today's challenge was black and white. I went with this picture because I wanted something truly black and white to an extent before just hitting a button in Photoshop. I really miss playing the piano and wish I had stuck with it a little longer (yes mom, you told me so).

No extras today...I attempted a few pics of Korbin but he wasn't having it. We spent the morning at my mom's so the boys and I could get out for a while. Kayden showed up so we were there longer than planned but oh well! We came home in time for the kids to take naps that were much needed. My only excitement for today was I ran into JC Penney (ok walked) and I got myself a sweater, 2 shirts for Jaxton, 1 for Bentley, and 2 for Korbin and I only spent $13:)

Now off to kid patrol and to countdown til bedtime. Jaxton has major attitude and Bentley is whiney so I can't wait to lay them down!

I can't believe my baby is already a month old! It's going by way too fast and I want him to stay my little newborn:( He is starting to stay awake a lot more, especially in the mornings. It's sweet and scary how much he watches the other two. More trouble in the making I'm sure...which is all the more reason to snuggle him and enjoy his innocence now!

Since he is a month old of course a few pictures were taken! I had more planned but we had a day of pooping troubles again for the poor guy so he was more fussy than usual and wanted mommy to hold him at all times...literally. If I set him down he was crying within a minute or two. Oh well...that's what I'm for:)

March Photo a Day

So I already changed my mind on which one I am doing. A friend posted a different version and after looking at them I decided I liked this one more because it seems more creative and open to interpretation. So here is the version I am doing instead...

Day 1:
Something that makes you smile. For this one I can't just post one picture because it wouldn't be fair. There are three boys in my life that make me smile every day (well usually four but he left for work already and doesn't like his picture taken anyway.
