(Thanks hun!) |
After getting in their baskets and playing for just a little bit we headed over to my parent's house. I had suggested she start doing an egg hunt for the grandkids every year and she thought it sounded like a good idea. Somehow I missed the memo that more than just the immediate family were coming and we were grilling and doing potluck. Good thing I happened to make a cake just to take for fun!
(thank you Pinterest for the idea) |
Since we were late getting over there the boys went out for the egg hunt right away. Jaxton and Bentley didn't care to look for eggs at home but they had more fun there! Kayden had been to a few egg hunts already so he knew what to do and my boys had to try and keep up!
I missed out on watching them open the eggs since I was feeding Korbin but there was some melted chocolate, strawberry marshmallows, and notes for "prizes." They had quite a bit of fun but were ready to go play with the bubbles we took over as soon as they were done. They were out there for a couple of hours and only stopped when we made them come in so we could eat some lunch.
Sam and I enjoyed some time inside without the older boys and let Keith and Cory watch them outside for a bit. While we were all hanging out in there Jody kept getting Korbin to smile and I finally got it on camera!
I have tons more pics but I'm just going to post my photo challenge pic now because I really want to get to bed! Today's theme was "inside your wallet" which isn't very exciting for me. I've been wanting to get a new purse and wallet lately but here's what the inside looks like now.
