22 down!

Since last updating I have finished 4 more goals! I'm up to 22 finished and several in progress. Not too bad for only being 190 days in out of 1001!

2. Watch a sunrise. This one I didn't complete by choice at the time. When we went to get the boys we drove straight through so I watched it come up from the car. I wish I was sleeping instead but I have a hard time sleeping in the car and everytime I'd doze off one of the boys would start whining. The picture is through the window obviously but it's my proof I saw it:)

36. Finish Bentley's monthly pictures for the first year. Done! I love this little guy. Here's one I'm using for a 12 month pic. I still plan on taking more soon I just had to wait for him to get back and for the weather to cooperate! I still can't believe my baby is already one.

78. Go to a parade. We never seem to make it to any parades but I finally talked Toad into taking the boys to the 4th of July parade here. It was hot and lasted forever so we left a little early but the boys loved it anyway!

96. Finish 101 pages for the boys' scrapbooks. Way beyond that now! I tried catching up quite a bit while they were gone. I got quite a bit done but I still have a ways to go.

Other than finishing this I've also read a few more books and watched a few more movies but still have a ways to go on those ones.

Mississippi Trip!

Friday we got the chance to go over to Mississippi and meet up with Brandi and her kiddos! Brandi's oldest, Brex, is two weeks older than Jaxton. Bella is two months older than Bentley so they are close in age. She also just had baby Corbin, but obviously we don't have one for that age lol. Anyway the kids had a blast. We got there Friday afternoon and just hung out at their house. Jax and Brex had a great time just running around outside forever and getting pulled around in the wagon. Sadly we didn't get pictures at the house because we were watching the other three.

Yesterday we took the kids (minus Corbin) to Ghatti Town Pizza and Games in Hattiesburg. It's a pizza buffet and they have a bunch of games and some rides for kids in the back. It was awesome, except for Jaxton being way crabby. He loved the basketball game they had and other older kids commented on how good he was lol.

After we left Hattiesburg we met up with Zoe, Anthony, and Ava in Gulfport for a quick visit. We just let the kids play at a little park in the outlet mall near their house. Next time I plan to actually shop while I'm there though because they had some really good sales! Anyway I didn't get much for pics there because Bentley wasn't happy at first because it was too unsteady to walk in the sand and Jax kept wanting help because he couldn't climb the rock wall they had to get up and go down the slides so instead of getting tons of sand in the camera I left it alone:( Oh well there's always next time!

Here is Bentley and Bella waiting to eat!
Jax and Brex on the train ride
Jax on the carosel. He loved it at first but then they stopped it early for him to get off lol. Luckily he was the only one on it so it wasn't a problem!
And both boys playing the basketball game (well Bentley trying to help).
And the crew after eating and playing games. Us mamas were worn out at this point and obviously the boys weren't ready to stop playing yet!

4th of July Parade

We started off the morning heading to the parade! Taking the stroller was pointless since they lasted .5 seconds in it but at least they were both pretty good. Jaxton wanted to eat every piece of candy he got-which wasn't much-and Bentley ended up with a sucker which he loved! We ended up leaving before the end because the boys were so hot and so we could beat traffic but they had fun for while we were there!
Both kids right after we got there
Bentley playing with his flag they were handing out
Jax cheesin (and already sweating) while waiting for the parade to start
Pretty sure he was going to get some beads that were thrown here but his hands were already full!
Bentley happy with his sucker and waving
Jax waving back to the people in the parade
I took a few pictures of the actual parade too that were funny but Blogger seems to be against me the past couple of days and it's already taken literally all day to get these pictures uploaded so I am stopping here.

As for the rest of the 4th, we attempted going to fireworks tonight but that was a FAIL. Sadly Toad and I have yet to see fireworks together. We went to one of the places that said there were supposed to be fireworks tonight and there were plenty of other people there too, but nothing. Either we were at the wrong place or they decided not to have them there-no idea...guess it's the thought that counts and we could somewhat see a bunch of other places that were setting them off in the distance. Too bad the boys could care less about that so we just left. There's always next year...

Got my babies back:)

Just a few pictures from our trip to get the boys Friday/Saturday! We met my mom in Metropolis, Illinois so it was 10 hours for us both. Talk about a long drive...but worth every minute:D

Gizmo was waiting for his buddies to come home too
These poor dogs weren't kept in by anything!
Hard to see but there is a life flight helicopter blocking the other side of the road.
Sorry for the glare from the window but you can see a little of what was left of the car in the ditch..it wasn't pretty.
And then of course both of my boys with the big Superman in Metropolis!
